Juliette taught for several years in the Chattanooga after graduating from Covenant College. What drew her to Intown was the school's dedication to teaching students holistically. Feeling united in vision with the parents of her students, Juliette loves getting to teach everything through the perspective of the gospel at ICS.

Chris grew up in Milledgeville, Georgia, and was saved at the age of five. He graduated from Covenant College in 1993. Just after, he served as a missionary for four years in Japan. He has traveled to 49 states and 19 countries on 4 continents. The time spent overseas in particular changed his life. It gave him a new idea of the vastness and diversity of God’s creation. He also realized that the world doesn’t revolve around America. In 2001 he moved to Atlanta and joined the staff at Intown. Our third grade curriculum focuses on the seven continents, and he is pleased to be able to share his personal experiences. He loves teaching at Intown! He enjoys the wonderful staff and having students who are excited about learning.

FOURTH GRADE
After graduating from Georgia College with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Emmalyn has been at Intown since 2014. She taught multiple lower elementary grade levels before landing in 4th. She loves being back at the same school where she was blessed to experience a Charlotte Mason education as a child and seeing the rich community and traditions that are still happening today. Her favorite thing about teaching here at Intown is the integration between content areas, including daily devotions, that allows students to make strong, meaningful connections as learners.
